Description
Large white night-blooming many-petalled cup-shaped flower with numerous white stamens tinged light green towards the base, surrounded by light green sepals that arise from a sturdy green stalklike tube; borne singly. A succulent perennial herb with prominent four- to six- angled stems bearing numerous clusters of thin needlelike spines.
Perfect equality which enables us to accept success and failure, fortune and misfortune, happiness and sorrow with the same tranquil joy; for all these things become marvellous gifts that the Lord in his infinite solicitude showers upon us.
