Description
Small to medium-sized dainty cup-shaped bright crimson flower with delicately fringed petals and a tufted centre; the petals are two to three times as long as the pointed ovate sepals which have a conspicuous mid-vein; borne in erect terminal racemes. A prolific graceful annual with narrow linear needlelike leaves.
