Mattéo Ismalun (1825–02.1887) Mother’s maternal grandfather. Banker, Domestic man.

His father was Ismalun Isaak, banker (~1795,Alexandria — 21.05.1861).

Had two brothers. His elder brother, Jacob (Jackues) Ismalun (~1821,Alexandria — 13.11.1866, Alexandria), was married to Gamila Pinto, perhaps, daughter of Said Pinto. His younger brother, Abraham, banker (before 1832-1885) was married to Benarojo Anetta (~1843-~1920) and had 7 children: Mathilde (1862-), Isaac (1863-1914), Regina (1864-), Esther (1866-1949), Elisabetta (1871-), Giacomo (1872-), Margherite (1877-).

Had two sisters: Hannah (before 1827-?) and Seniora (before 1827-?). Both spinster, no children.

Mattéo Ismalun married to daughter of Said Pinto, Mira Pinto, at 1843 at Alexandria. Mattéo and Mira had nine children: Isaco Di Jabob (Ignace), eldest child, banker (1845, Alexandria – ); Esther (23.10.1846-~ 1906); Elvire (~ 1847, Alexandria — ?); BEY Albert (16.01.1853, Livourne — 1912); Emile (09.04.1854 — 27.04.1915, Le Caire), spinster, no children; Alfred (16.05.1854, Livourne — 26.10.1916, Alexandria); Mathilde (mother of the Mother) (18.12.1857, Alexandria – 1944); Arthur (~1860-?), bachelor, no children; another son, no children.
