Saïd Pinto (? — 1846), maternal great-grandfather of the Mother. Egyptian banker. His family line runs back to Spain. He married Anna Cohen (? — 1869) and the had five children: Jacob (Jacques) (c. 1821, Alexandria – 13.11.1866, Alexandria); Mattéo (the Mother’s maternal grandfather 1825 – 06.11.1880, Kair); Hannah (before 1827 — ?); Seniora (before 1827 – ?); Abraham (banker, before 1832-1885).
