Information

(354-430), a great saint, bishop of Hippo, and one of the four Latin Fathers of the Christian Church. He was the dominant personality of the Western Church of his time, and is generally recognised as the greatest thinker of Christian antiquity. In Sri Aurobindo’s view, he was a man of God and a great saint, but not a great psychologist or a great thinker.
