Information

(1864-1930), a well-known barrister of Bombay and one of the leaders of Tilak’s nationalist party. It was through him that, at the end of 1919, the Socialist Democratic Party of Bombay invited Sri Aurobindo to accept the editorship of a paper to be started at Bombay. Sri Aurobindo politely but firmly declined the invitation.
