All the time I feel in my being an energy which does not seem to be rajasic or sattwic. It disapproves of tamasic passivity, and quietly supports my actions, helping me to accomplish them steadily and harmonious/y.

That is the beginning of what is called Tapas – though at first it tends to have a rajasic element.
