Sukta 14
7.14.1
स॒मिधा॑ जा॒तवे॑दसे दे॒वाय॑ दे॒वहू॑तिभिः ।
ह॒विर्भिः॑ शु॒क्रशो॑चिषे नम॒स्विनो॑ व॒यं दा॑शेमा॒ग्नये॑ ॥
sam-ídhā jātá-vedase devā́ya deváhūti-bhiḥ ǀ
havíḥ-bhiḥ śukrá-śociṣe namasvínaḥ vayám dāśema agnáye ǁ
To the godhead knower of all things born, by our fuel, by our invocations of the god, by our offerings may we give making prostration, to the Fire of the brilliant light.
7.14.2
व॒यं ते॑ अग्ने स॒मिधा॑ विधेम व॒यं दा॑शेम सुष्टु॒ती य॑जत्र ।
व॒यं घृ॒तेना॑ध्वरस्य होतर्व॒यं दे॑व ह॒विषा॑ भद्रशोचे ॥
vayám te agne sam-ídhā vidhema vayám dāśema su-stutī́ yajatra ǀ
vayám ghṛténa adhvarasya hotaḥ vayám deva havíṣā bhadra-śoce ǁ
May we worship thee, O Fire, with the fuel, may we give to thee with the laud, O master of sacrifice, we with the oblation, O Priest of the call of the pilgrim-sacrifice, we with the offerings, O god of the happy flame.
7.14.3
आ नो॑ दे॒वेभि॒रुप॑ दे॒वहू॑ति॒मग्ने॑ या॒हि वष॑ट्कृतिं जुषा॒णः ।
तुभ्यं॑ दे॒वाय॒ दाश॑तः स्याम यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ॥
ā́ naḥ devébhiḥ úpa devá-hūtim ágne yāhí váṣaṭ-kṛtim juṣāṇáḥ ǀ
túbhyam devā́ya dā́śataḥ syāma yūyám pāta svastí-bhiḥ sádā naḥ ǁ
Come, O Fire, with the gods to our invocation of the gods taking pleasure in the cry “Vashat”, to thee, O god, may we be givers of the offerings. Do you guard us always with all kinds of weal.
