You can write to him that when someone has a sincere 
and strong call for the sadhana Sri Aurobindo does not refuse to accept him. But 
it may be that he has first to prepare himself before he can 


 face the full difficulties of the Path. As for leaving all it would be 
premature to do so before one is sufficiently advanced on the way to make such a 
step spiritually profitable; too early done, it often creates more difficulties 
than it removes.
