In April 1889, Aurobindo and Benoybhushan moved to private lodgings at 28, Kempsford Gardens, Earl’s Court, South Kensington.

42 Hogarth Road, London

It was the home of the South Kensington Liberal Club in 1892. Sri Aurobindo apparently stayed here after leaving Cambridge in the summer 1892. Soon, however, he moved to his brothers to 6 Burlington Road, Bayswater.

Burlington Road, London

Circa 1910

Photo of the road only, not of the house (6 Burlington Road, Bayswater), where Sri Aurobindo stayed from the autumn of 1892. The photograph at least gives us an idea what the neighbourhood was like a decade or two after he lived there.
