December 1889, Sri Aurobindo did at his examinations for Cambridge. On 11 October 1890, Accepted at King College, Cambridge. He was lodged in a building across King’s Lane, which was known as the Drain because it was always wet and puddled. There was a bedroom doubling as a study, a storeroom, and a “gyp room,” or kitchen, shared by two neighbors. In the summer 1892, Sri Aurobindo leaved Cambridge and return to London.
