It seems to me that your difficulty in keeping quiet is because you are allowing the feelings and suggestions of the old consciousness to invade you. Otherwise you would not write of going away and the rest. When these feelings, these impulses come up, they are always the suggestions of the old force that does not want you to remain with the Mother or do the sadhana. The feeling of sorrow you had yesterday which you did not understand is usually the sign of an attack coming. If you want to keep your quietude, you must never allow these suggestions to invade you, for it is to destroy your quietude that they come. To reject them insist on going inside, to reopen fully the psychic consciousness and in the light of the inner truth of things get rid of all difficulties, that is the only true course and the only safety.
