yajña, sacrifice

Offering; any action, inner or outer, dedicated to the gods; offering of self, oun being, own mind, heart, will, body, life to Divine. In context of Veda – it is more often offering of hymn, of thoughts, of word.

The God also may be sacrificer and give to man a share in Bliss, in Consciousness-Knowledge, in Power-Will, in Infinitude and in Immortality.
