pūṣan, Pushan

Lord of paths, he carries to good pasture, impelling thought, full of abundance, son of unyoking, bringing the Bliss (Mayas), giving thoughts that are led by cows and give us bliss, he is attracting to him the mind of everyone, fulfilling Vedic works, having goats (unborn, i.e. thoughts) as steeds, seeing altogether all worlds, let him be our increaser, most powerful, overpowering enemies, hastening, let Pushan by goad, by which he impels Word-Wisdom to rise, impels every heart.
