It is important, that this strainer filters through threads of the Truth, extended in it, 9.73.9, another image is a wool of sheep, allusion on Indra-Ram, the god of supramental consciousness-knowledge, passim. Soma, vine of ecstasy, i.e. hymn-offering, “drips” by drops into this strainer, collected there, runs in circles in multiple repeats of the hymn and clarified: in the Heaven lords of rapture milk inexhaustible soma, living in mountains, in waters, increasing in Ocean; from Ocean he honeyed inflows into strainer, 9.85.10; strainer from Tapas stretched in region of Heaven, its threads shine, strained, they increase him, who purifies, intensive they rise to high level of Heaven with consciousness, 9.83.2, thy bright rays in high region of Heaven spread strainer, O Soma, 9.66.5; soma flows in strainer of him, who purifies by consciousness, 9.16.4; in stretched strainer with thousand currents the seers purify speech, 9.73.7; this seer (soma ) drops from above into strainer, purified, he kills powers that make us to err, 9.27.1; purified, wide-seeing, priest of purifying, let him now purify us by strainer, 9.67.22; O god Savitri, do clean me by both, by strainer and by pressing out, 9.67.25; pressed out by stones (i.e. by direct vision and hearing of the Truth) thou art purified in strainer, 9.86.23.
