of Rig Veda

gādha, ford

The often used image in Veda is a ford, shallow water, a shallow place through which the poet’s chartiot-hymn can cross. The image symbolizes the need to weaken, reduce full-flowing rivers of consciousness-knowledge in accordance with human abilities, a kind of adaptation of higher consciousness-knowledge, thanks to which something from it can be available for human understanding.
