Krishnayya is mistaken. Mother is not anxious to have this land, and she does not approve of your giving this money for that purpose. (It would also be a great pity to sell the diamond,¹ as it would certainly not fetch anything like its true price in the market.) It is not a moment when we can go in for these things. So keep to the original arrangement about the money. We do not wish you either to give up your stay in the Asram.
