Quantitative Experiment [1]1

Horse hooves trampled the crumbling plain with their four-footed gallop.

This work was not included in SABCL or CWSA, it was not compared with other editions.

1 The piece was taken from A&R. 1977, No 2, p.23. It was written in Pondicherry, probably after 1930. It is a translation of Latin hexameter, using the same metre in English. The Latin originals is Quadrupedante putrem cursu quatit ungula campum (Cf. Virgil Aeneid 8.596 and 11.875)
