tanūnapa, son of the body

“Son of the body” is epithet of god, while the orrering, the hymn, dedicated to this god, is his body, because it manifests the god in consciousness of the Rishi, gives to him his embodiment: that soma, let it be thy by Law of nature, in it pressed out do hold thy embodiment, 3.51.11.
