By his first step Vishnu gave place for Earth, here are three worlds, “three earths”, 2.27.8, worlds, where lives and which are used by man: material, vital and mental planes. By the second step Vishnu gave place to the air space, antariksha, middle world between Earth and Heaven, to the world of Overmind. By the third and highest stp Vishnu gave place to Heaven, where are three worlds, three heavens. The lowest heaven is a supramental world, Svar, place of dynamic action of the Sun-Truth, of yoking steeds of Sun; middle world is a place of unyoking and of repose, of the Bliss, Mayas (source of honey, 1.154.5); upper heaven is supreme world of Sat-Chit-Tapas, of eternal and infinit Existence-Consciousness-Force. Two lowest steps of Vishnu are available for man, whereas worlds of his third step – are not: The mortal stirs only in two steps of this all-seeing one, of him seeing Svar; the third his step violences nobody, even soaring birds winged, 1.155.5. But man can perceives worlds of the third step: always the illumined seers see that supreme region of Vishnu, the eye extended at heaven, 1.22.20; the illumined seers, luminous in knowledge, wakeful, kindle altogether that supreme region of Vishnu, 1.22.21.
