pipru, Pipru

One of the Enemies, acting on the mental plan, crushed by Indra. In Veda, we find several places that specify Pipru’s qualities: lawless (1.101.2); chasing (4.16.13); Pipra (10.99.11, i.e. he keeps cows, supramental perceptions of the Truth from human beings; strongholds (i.e. areas of mental consciousness closed from human beings) of Asura Pipru, the maker of false maya (10.138.3).
