didhiṣvaḥ, meditating

The word occurs once in the Rigveda; its exact meaning is unknown. Participle, formed from the verb dhiṣ; dhātupāṭha gives an assumed meaning of the word, “to sound,” given to explain the noun dhiṣaṇā, which, according to Nirukta, means speech, a hymn, however, we have the adverb dhiṣ, mindfully, the noun dhī, thought, the process of “holding in thought” of the object of concentration, i.e. meditation The verb also has a meaning that matches dhā, to direct or fix the mind or attention.
