ও¹ [ ō¹ ] n the tenth vowel of the Bengali al phabet.

ওঁ [ ō ] n the mystic sound denoting the Hindu trinity; the origin or root of all sounds; the symbol representing the Supreme Being. ওঁকার, ওঙ্কার, ওংকার n. the sound ওঁ (cp. chest-note).
