of Rig Veda

trikadruka, three vessels

Poet trice presses out soma – at the first time at Dawn, in the illuminated mind, in wooden cup (the tree is an image for Thought) of upper lever of Earth. In the second time he presses soma at the middle of a day, i.e. in the bright mid-world of the Overmind. The most potent wine, the highest hymn, the poet presses out in the Waters of the third step of Vishnu, i.e. in supramental consciousness.
